About
Joslin-Landis Insurance Agency
In February of
1996, Michael Joslin, Scott Landis, Tammie Ringer, and Gina Candela
founded the Joslin-Landis Insurance Agency on Main Street in downtown
Conneaut, Ohio. With a combined total of 80 years of insurance
experience, Joslin-Landis quickly became Ashtabula County's fastest
growing insurance agency.
In February of 1997, the
Agency purchased the former LaGrande Movie Theatre Building built in
1901, across from the Conneaut Post Office. This move allowed
Joslin-Landis to double its number of employees and triple its office
space for future growth.
Six years later, in October
of 2003, the Agency completed an additional 2,500 sq. ft. total
renovation of the former WWOW radio station; The radio station had
leased office space in the same building. Once again, the Agency
doubled it's space for future growth. Joslin-Landis now occupies all
5,000 sq. ft. of the former LaGrande Movie Theatre located at 237-239
Broad Street in downtown Conneaut. This is the same building that
survived one of the worst fires in Conneaut's history. In November of
1953 during a driving rainstorm, the Elks Club located adjacent to the
LaGrande Movie Theatre caught fire and the subsequent fire destroyed
much of the entire block. Only the direction of the fierce winds that
ravaged most of the block, pushed the flames away from the LaGrande
structure and saved it from destruction.
In May of 2007, Aaron
Joslin joined the Agency after graduating from the prestigious Boler
School of Business at John Carroll University in University Heights,
Ohio. He became licensed to sell Property & Casualty and Life &
Health Insurance. Aaron also holds his Series 7 Security
License.
